Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and The Access Studio ("we", "us"), a London-based model management and photography studio. By applying, creating an account or paying for a package you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the service.

2. Who can apply

You must be 16 or older to apply. Applicants aged 16 or 17 must have permission from a parent or guardian, who will be asked to countersign before any shoot or paid package begins.

3. What we offer

Free Access: portfolio hosting and inclusion in our submission engine at no cost, offered at our discretion.
Standard (£150): twelve months of access, one photographer-led studio session on our standard schedule, and approximately 60 reviewed submissions per month.
Elite (£300): twelve months of access, priority and unlimited studio bookings, premium portfolio placement, and 100+ reviewed submissions per month.

We don't act as your agent and we don't take exclusivity. You're free to sign with any agency at any time.

4. What we don't promise

We promise the access, the studio time and the submissions described in your package. We do not guarantee any specific number of castings, brand bookings, agency signings or income. Modelling outcomes depend on factors outside our control.

5. Payment

Packages are a single upfront payment in GBP, processed by Stripe. Access starts on the date payment clears (your "start date"). Prices shown include VAT where applicable.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You have a 14-day cooling-off period from your start date under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
If you cancel within 14 days and have not yet taken your studio session, you'll get a full refund within 14 days.
If you've already used the studio session or your access has begun delivering value (submissions sent on your behalf), we may deduct a fair amount for services already provided.
After 14 days the package is non-refundable, as studio time and submission credits have been allocated to you.

7. Studio sessions

Sessions are booked through the member portal subject to availability. Please give at least 48 hours' notice to reschedule; no-shows or late cancellations may forfeit the session. You must follow reasonable instructions from our team and photographer on site, and behave respectfully to staff and other members.

8. Images & content

You own your likeness. By taking part in a shoot you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the resulting images for: your portfolio on our roster, submissions to castings and brands, and our own marketing of the studio.
You receive high-resolution copies of your shoot images and can use them anywhere, including with other agencies.
Photos and content you submit to us must be yours to share. Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to.

9. Acceptable use

Don't use the service to harass others, misrepresent yourself, attempt to access other members' accounts, scrape our roster, or breach UK law. We can suspend or terminate access (without refund beyond the cooling-off period) for serious breaches.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else the law doesn't allow us to limit. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost earnings or lost opportunities).

11. Changes to the service or terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to active members at least 14 days in advance. If you don't accept the change you can cancel and (if within your first 12 months and the change materially reduces what you paid for) request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales.
